Election of 1920 Warren G. Harding Portrait Buttons

President:Warren G. Harding
Vice President:Calvin Coolidge
Year:1920
Party:Republican
Colors:Variety of Colors
Sizes:Variety of Sizes
Theme:Portrait
Tagline:Harding for President, Warren G. Harding, Harding, Coolidge

Warren G. Harding is a relatively uninteresting candidate, but his lack of campaign materials make him attractive to collectors. Buttons are relatively scarce and jugates of Harding and his running mate, Calvin Coolidge, are even more scarce. Memorabilia from Harding’s opposition James Cox (along with running mate FDR) is very rare and very highly valued among collectors. Buttons during this period are blander than their predecessors and, for the first time, made of lithographed tin rather than celluloid.
