Buttons from the Election of 1924 are arguably the most rare of any election. There was not a lot of money for campaign materials this year, and buttons were not a high priority. Jugates are more rare than Portrait or name buttons. Many of his items remind voters of the “Teapot Dome Scandal”, a shady political event occurring during President Harding’s time in office. Silver stickpins of teapots told voters “Don’t Forget Dome”.
